Our Sources & Method

RightToolHQ exists to make software buying decisions faster. Pricing, plan limits, and feature availability are scattered across vendors’ sites and change constantly — we gather that information into one page, cite where it came from, and date it so you know how current it is.

What we do

  • Gather. We pull pricing, plan tiers, limits, and feature details from the vendor’s own pricing pages, plan comparison tables, and product documentation.
  • Organise. We restructure it into a consistent format across every guide, so two tools can be compared on the same terms rather than on whichever details each vendor chose to highlight.
  • Cite. Claims link back to the source page they came from, so you can open it and confirm for yourself.
  • Date. Every guide shows when its information was compiled.

Our sources

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, our content is based on publicly available documentation, pricing pages, official product information, and reputable third-party sources. Where hands-on testing has not been performed, we indicate on the page that practical observations are not included.

Vendor claims

When we describe a feature as beginner-friendly, powerful, or easy to use, we attribute those descriptions to the vendor or another cited source, unless we explicitly state they are based on our own testing.

What we verify, and what we don’t

Unless explicitly noted, we do not independently verify vendor performance claims through hands-on testing. Technical specifications, pricing, and plan limits are reproduced from cited public sources.

Because software pricing and plan limits change frequently, always confirm current pricing and terms on the vendor’s own website before purchasing. The vendor’s site is the authoritative source.

How our guides are produced

Our guides are produced using an AI-assisted editorial workflow that gathers, organises, and cites publicly available product information into a consistent format.

Corrections

If you identify outdated pricing, incorrect plan limits, broken links, or other factual inaccuracies, please contact us. We review reported issues and update pages where appropriate.
