Kit vs Brevo (2026): Unlimited Sends or Unlimited Contacts

Kit gives you 10,000 subscribers free with unlimited sending. Brevo gives you unlimited contacts free but only 300 emails a day. Both are unusually generous, on completely different axes — and the one that suits you depends entirely on whether your constraint is list size or send volume.

Kit at 1,000 subscribers, Brevo at its entry paid tier, both read 8 August 2026 in USD. The two price on different axes, so read the section on which constraint applies to you rather than the headline figures. Untested in a live account, and unrated.

The Short Version

Kit is a creator platform that prices on audience size. Brevo is a messaging platform that prices on volume sent. Neither charges you for the thing the other charges for. See our Kit review and Brevo review.

The practical difference: Kit will let you mail 10,000 people tomorrow morning. Brevo will not, on the free plan, at any list size above 300 — the daily ceiling is absolute. But Brevo will store a 200,000-contact database for nothing while you decide what to do with it.

Brevo is dramatically cheaper on entry price, but read what Starter excludes: marketing automation only appears on the $18 Standard tier. Compare Kit Creator at $39 against Brevo Standard at $18 for a fairer like-for-like on capability.

The Number That Actually Decides It

Whether you sell to your list. Kit charges 3.5% + 30¢ on every digital product, paid newsletter and subscription — on every plan, free included. Brevo does not sell products at all. If monetising the audience is the point, Kit is the only one of the two that does it, and you should price that fee into the comparison. If you are simply sending campaigns, Brevo does it for less than half.

Verdict

Creators selling to an audience: Kit. Businesses sending campaigns to a large database: Brevo, and it is not close on price. The awkward middle case is a creator with a big list who mails rarely — Brevo stores them free, but you will need Standard at $18 before you can automate anything.
